Mayors Appeal Fund - 1979

Mr Eric Jones of the Merthyr Youth Advisory Committee, presents the Mayor, Mrs. Mary John, with a cheque for £192. The money was raised in a sponsored walk by the Young People of

Merthyr Tydfil in 1978. This donation brought the appeal fund to £6,907.59.
