Penydarren Infants School - Babies Class - 1962/63

Ian Noble tells us: My late mother’s notes on the back say this was the “Babies’ Class”, i.e. 4 years old on entry, or what would be called reception class today. Teacher was Mrs Price (standing). I am the taller one standing in the back row a couple of places to the left (her right) of her in the plain dark top. Can’t remember any names although remember the identical twin boys at the back on the right of the picture. My main memory of this. my first year at school, was the snow and ice of the great winter of 62-3 to be overcome every day on our walk from home in Billingham Crescent.
