Whilst excavating a pit at the old Sixty-Sixty garage opposite Leo's superstore |
|
|
|

| A tunnel
was broken into, this would have belonged of the Plymouth Ironworks which
had occupied this site previously. Peering in to the hole an old tram was seen. |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Further excavation and cleaning back revealed more of the old relic of the ironworks. |

| Eventually they were able to winch up the old tram | |
